The year-end Gayo Daejuns are perhaps some of the most highly anticipated music shows as they showcase numerous performances by Korea’s top idols and artists and also feature many different dance performances that typically aren’t seen throughout the year. However grand and epic they might be, this year’s Gayo Daejuns were marred by technical mishaps and miscommunication that plagued the shows.
Perhaps one of the most egregious errors happened to both U-KISS and MBLAQ. While MBLAQ suffered through mic problems, it is U-KISS’ performance that have left fans demanding a public apology from MBC to U-KISS.
From the get-go, the U-KISS members were caught unawares by the start of their music and the sudden music cut-off that was heard, forcing the members to think that this was only a rehearsal, but instead, the music resumed and the members were left with expressions of confusion and panic on their faces. Luckily, with the utmost professionalism, they were able to get back into the performance, to the delight of screaming fans. Like MBLAQ, U-KISS experienced problems with their mics.

Wow, what a mess, MBC, what a mess. For those of you who don’t know, the hashtag “#WeLoveYouUKISS” trended 2nd worldwide quickly after the members tweeted apologies for something they had no control over.
